Your job is to keep the water flowing for as long as possible by
placing pipes from the queue in the bottom-left corner of the screen
(leftmost first) onto the grid by tapping a vacant block with the
stylus. The water starts flowing approx. 10 seconds after your
stylus touches the screen (e.g. to lay the first pipe). The minimum
number of pipes that the water must flow through is shown in the
top-left of the window - this will decrease as the water flows.
You will lose one of your three lives if you fail to direct the
water through enough pipes, otherwise you will continue onto the
next level. You may lay pipes over previously placed ones,
as long as the water hasn't started flowing through them,
but exploding the existing pipe costs you points. Gain extra
points for using a crossover pipe in both directions.
A bonus is earned at the end of each level, which decreases
for each unused pipe that has been laid.
The 'fast' button increases the water flow rate. Use it when
you have laid all the pipes you want to to complete the level.
Scoring Summary:
For each normal pipe water flows through: 50
Using a crossover both ways: 150
Exploding an existing pipe: -100
End of level bonus: based on pipe usage
Tips:
----
Try not to place pipes in awkward places where they can't be
used - exploding them costs points.
Plan where to put the first 5 pipes in the queue before you start.
